We are delighted to announce that Our Planet won two RTS West awards last night!

The CINEMATOGRAPHY AWARD, was received by Jamie McPherson on behalf of all the Our Planet camera team.

The Judges described the camera work as “truly spectacular, a masterclass in composition, with multiple camera work that captured each event as though it were a Hollywood movie”.

The Our Planet series won the NATURAL HISTORY AWARD, received by Keith and Alastair  on behalf of the whole team.

The judges described the series as “Epic, cinematic and beautifully put together and a pioneering step in conveying a conservation message that inspired and moved the audience to action”.

I think it is always very special to be recognised in our home town and very many congratulations to all involved
