Coming to Netflix 2023: Our Planet II and Life on Our Planet

We’re thrilled to announce our two new natural history series for Netflix, as part of their expanding natural history slate.

Our Planet II is our new 4-part series, narrated by Sir David Attenborough, unravelling the mystery of how and why animals migrate. At any given moment on planet Earth, billions of animals are on the move, through spectacular and innovative cinematography we reveal some of the most dramatic and compelling stories in the natural world.

It follows the phenomenal success of Our Planet which has seen more than 100 million households tune in since its release in April 2019.

Life on Our Planet is our new 8-part series, produced in partnership with Amblin Television, and narrated by Morgan Freeman. It’s the story of life’s epic battle to conquer and survive on planet Earth. Today there are 20 million species on our planet, yet what we see is just a snapshot in time – 99% of earth’s inhabitants are lost to our deep past. In partnership with Industrial Light & Magic, we use the latest technology and science to bring long extinct creatures back to life, revealing what happened to these dynasties. Their rise and their fall is truly remarkable…
